Art and artists alike were celebrated on Saturday at the official opening of the 30 x 30 Local Artist Exhibition.

Held at Rivendell Winery, the exhibition features 30 artists and 60 artworks, and was a collaborative idea by Dunsborough resident Sandy Winkle and the winery’s team.

“A huge thanks to Rivendell for hosting in their idyllic space and presenting fantastic grazing platters and Forester Wine,” Winkle said.

Beginner and established artists in the region painted for more than two months to create the collection of eclectic works, and the only common theme was the size — 30cm x 30cm.

“Still life, landscape, portraiture and abstract works are on show,” Winkle said.

“It’s a rolling exhibition, which means that works sold will be replaced by new creations so there is plenty to see. “Prices are reasonable, so get down to Rivendell for a look, a delicious meal and perhaps you will find a treasure to colour your life.”
