Two former Australian rugby union players set to visit South West as part of Gold Blooded Tour
Two former Australian rugby union representatives are set to visit the South West.
Ex-Wallaby Sam Norton-Knight and Ex-Wallaroo Rebecca Clough will visit the region over the coming week as part of the RugbyWA and Rugby Australia’s Gold Blooded Tour.
The tour will start on August 13 in Busselton, with school visits to Geographe and Vasse primary schools.
Fans at the Dunsborough and Busselton Dungbeetles will get to the chance to greet the pair before they head off the next day.
Bunbury will be the second stop on August 14, with the duo starting the day at South Bunbury Primary School before heading to Kingston Primary School later in the afternoon.
The day will wrap up with Norton-Knight and Clough making an appearance at the Bunbury Barbarians Junior Rugby Union Club at the Leschenault Recreation Park.
Events being put on by the club include a tag game tryout session, a pop-up Wallabies museum and a ticketed Wallaby-themed quiz night.
The pair will then head to Perth before the tour wraps up on August 17 — the day the Wallabies are set to face South Africa at Optus Stadium.
