The Busselton Naturalists Club and the Capel Land Conservation District Committee are inviting volunteers to take part in a “Roo Shoo” and wildflower walk on Sunday.

Wildflowers have been blooming within a fenced enclosure at the northern section of the Ludlow Tuart Forest, but three kangaroos in the area need to be removed.

The enclosure was created by the CLCDC eight years ago in an attempt to remove kangaroo grazing pressure.

Busselton Naturalists Club president Bernie Masters said the event was well suited to families with children. Volunteers should meet at the northern end of Mangles Road in Minninup at 10am.
