The Busselton Jetty foreshore will come alive this weekend with beach volleyball’s best WA players on show at the Alcohol. Think Again WA Beach Volleyball Tour.

The tournament is part of a multi-stop volleyball competition held across WA’s picturesque beaches between October and April.

Each tour stop has multiple divisions and offers players of all skill levels the opportunity to get involved.

The tournament allows competitors to choose elite or competitive divisions.

The Busselton Open draw will see many local athletes competing, along with some of the best players from the State, who are aiming to win prize money as well as gain points towards the State Championship.

A number of local teams have registered for the event.

Teams to watch include experienced pair Tyler Gow and Wes Combridge.

Daniel Egerding and Peter Angell have been honing their tactics in the local competition.

Strong-serving pair Jamila Stork and Holly Roberts have teamed up for the women’s competition.

The Busselton Open kicks off at 7am on Saturday, February 2, with matches played all weekend.

Finals will be held on Sunday afternoon and the event is free for spectators.
