Weapon fired, car destroyed in West Busselton
Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred in West Busselton last night and are calling for the public to come forward with information.
A man and his children were inside their Clydebank Avenue home last night when an unknown person fired a weapon at the house about 10:50pm.
Police say several projectiles struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee parked in the carport and the offender then set fire to and destroyed the vehicle.
Neighbours who heard the commotion helped by towing the vehicle out of the carport to stop the fire from spreading to the house.
Detectives are asking anyone who lives nearby or was in the area to check if they have any dash cam footage or CCTV to help the investigation.

Callers have the option of remaining anonymous.
Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
