Wet weather will continue into the weekend along the Capes, along with high swells up to five metres.

The on and off stormy South West weather which battered the State throughout the week may have calmed, rain is almost guaranteed to continue.

Friday was the windiest day of the weekend with gales reaching up to 90km/h in some places, however calmer winds are expected come Saturday.

Across the Capes temperatures are expected to peak at only 19 degrees.
