Melbourne duo Client Liaison have announced a national tour for their latest single The Real Thing and are playing at the Dunsborough Tavern on November 1.

The Busselton Dunsborough Times is offering two free tickets to the Dunsborough gig for one lucky winner who shares this story on Facebook and Instagram before Thursday October 31.

The controversial outfit will perform their funk-fuelled indie pop with electronic synth influences, including hits World Without Love, Survival in the City and Off White Limosine.

Frontman Monte Morgan said their latest positive pop song The Real Thing was like an encore of their live show.

“To have positivity and danceability in a song and not be cheesy is really difficult,” he said.

“It’s more pop than we’ve ever been. I mean, we started in the underground, doing everything ourselves, but as you progress you want to hit a wider appeal."

Debut album Diplomatic Immunity reached No.15 at the ARIA chart and culminated in festival slots at Falls, Groovin’ the Moo and Splendour in the Grass where the acclaimed live show included Australian pop princess Tina Arena.

Last August, Client Liaison launched their own touring initiative, Expo Liaison, touring Australia with a bill they curated including Luke Million, Alice Ivy, No ZU, Total Giovanni and the one and only - John Farnham.

The band also designed and launched their own fashion brand, Client Liaison Deluxe Line at Sydney Fashion Week with pop-up events across the country.

All competition entrants must have liked the Busselton Dunsborough Times facebook page to be eligible.
