Cold Case Homicide Squad detectives are searching bushland in Perth’s north for clues into the disappearance of 14-year-old Radina Djukich, a North Beach teenager who went missing more than 20 years ago.

Police were today seen combing through bushland along Old Yanchep Road, with a spokeswoman confirming they would resume their search for clues again tomorrow.

Radina Djukich, whose body was never found, went missing in 1992.

Last year Ronald Joseph Buckland, 70, was charged with her manslaughter.

Mr Buchland is alleged to have killed Ms Djukich by injecting her with a deadly substance between May 15-16, 1992 in North Beach.

The teenager had spoken to her mother on the phone after leaving an Alvis Place address about 7pm on May 15, 1992.

She was reported missing the next morning.

Mr Buchland will front Western Australia's Supreme Court on September 7.
