Home destroyed in suspected arson attack in Ballajura

Police are investigating a suspicious fire that caused $200,000 damage to a home in Ballajura yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the home unit on Conifer Close at around 2:35pm.

The blaze caused extensive damage to the property, estimated at around $200,000.

Arson squad detectives are treating the fire as suspicious and ask members of the public who may have information that could assist their investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
