A teenage boy is fighting for life while members of his family remain in a stable condition after being airlifted from a major crash in Quinninup yesterday.

The 15-year-old was this morning in a serious but stable condition at Royal Perth Hospital, with his family in other wards nearby.

They were all airlifted to Perth after their Ford Kuga 4WD ran off South Western Highway near Wheatley Coast Road at 12.20pm.

The car rolled several times before striking a tree — inflicting life-threatening wounds to the young boy who was in the passenger seat.
