A driver at a Bunnings carpark appears to have hit a snag, causing a spectacular pile-up in front of stunned shoppers.

Images surfaced online on Friday afternoon showing a white Ford Falcon on top a blue Holden Berlina in the carpark of Midland Bunnings.

The Ford appears to have driven over the Holden, ripping up its bonnet and damaging a nearby Toyota Hilux in the crash.

The accident occurred in front of shoppers, with many taking to social media to post pictures of the scene.

“I came out of Bunnings... accident in the carpark,” wrote Stef Salerni on Facebook, alongside a number of images.

“Parking battles are getting worse,” replied one person.

“I have so many questions,” said another.

The pile-up has also added fuel to the long-running Holden versus Ford rivalry.

“Was that a Holden Vs Ford? Guess Ford came out on top,” one Facebook user wrote.

Details of the incident are unclear, although police have confirmed they attended a car rollover the Bunnings in Midland this afternoon about 2pm, and are investigating further.

St John Ambulance also attended the scene, and said no one was seriously injured in the incident.

Midland Bunnings declined to comment.
