Emergency services have rushed to a driver after she was injured when a bus and her car collided on Monday morning.

The crash happened near the intersection of Bennett Springs Drive and Toona Way in Bennett Springs about 8.10am.

A St John Ambulance crew rushed to the collision with lights and sirens on.

The female driver of the car, understood be in her 20s, has serious injuries and is being treated by paramedics.

The crew were still treating her on scene as of 9am.

No one else was hurt.
