A teenager has died after he was unresponsive when pulled from a river in the remote Kimberley.

Emergency services received a report around 3.05pm on Thursday that an unresponsive male had been pulled from the Prince Regent River, approximately 250 kilometres northeast of Derby.

Sadly, the 15-year-old was located deceased and could not be revived.

WA Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
