Police charge Reynold Travis Gregory Alone, 22, with child sex offences

Police have charged a 22-year-old Geraldton man with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Rangeway on September 5.

Reynold Travis Gregory Alone appeared in the Geraldton Magistrates Court today and has been remanded in custody to appear again on Thursday, November 5.

About 2am his alleged victim was walking along Blencowe Road between Utakarra Road and Johnston Street when he allegedly grabbed her by the hair from behind and dragged her into nearby bushland and sexually assaulted her.

Sex Assault Squad officers with the assistance of Geraldton Detectives charged Alone with Indecently dealing with a child over 13 and under 16 years; and one count of sexually penetrating a child over 13 and under 16 years in circumstances of aggravation.

Victims of sexual abuse, or people with information about someone being abused, are urged to contact police on 131 444.
