Collegians edge YMHC in tight A1 men’s hockey clash

Casey Linto and Regan Connor scored a goal apiece to lead CBC’s 2-1 victory over YMHC last weekend in the Eastern Goldfields Hockey Association’s A1 men’s division.

The Collegians’ Chris McCulloch starred alongside Linto and Nigel Crook while Bayley Gallagher, Nash Hunt and Dan Smith were prominent for YMHC.

Smith accounted for YMHC’s lone goal.

Week nine action in the division starts on Friday night when Pegasus take on CBC at 6.30pm.

Norths oppose Mines on Saturday at 5.30pm.

Unbeaten in five games, Norths lead the competition with 15 points from CBC and Mines.
