The two leading teams in the Eastern Goldfields Netball Association’s premier division, Imperials and Sonix 1, square off on Friday night in an eagerly awaited dress rehearsal for the upcoming finals.

Neither side can be displaced from the top-two heading into this weekend’s round 14 qualifying fixtures — the last before they meet again on August 26 in the second semifinal with an automatic grand final berth on the line.

Imperials hold first place with 10 wins, one more than Sonix 1, with Mana a further two games back in third place.

Also on Friday night to finish the qualifiers, Mana play NVUS and Rookies 1 take on Steelers.
