Special guests PJ Masks headline two-day Goldfields KidsFest

Young Goldfields residents enjoyed a weekend packed full of family fun during this year’s KidsFest event at Goldfields Oasis playing fields. The free festival is one of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s biggest annual events and invites children up to the age of 12 to participate in a diverse range of activities and entertainment. Inclement weather on Saturday failed to dampen the spirit of young attendees who donned raincoats and gumboots to combat the rain. The clouds cleared on Sunday which allowed families to take full advantage of the outdoor attractions on offer including X5 Academy’s parkour equipment, Party on the Green’s mini golf and a go-kart track by OzKidzKarts. Children’s TV favourites PJ Masks headlined this year’s event, with main characters Catboy, Owlette, Gekko and their allies taking to the stage several times across the weekend. They were joined by other entertainers who brought sing-a-long performances, reptiles and imaginative science shows to the stage KidsFest favourites including Angie the Fairy, Super Sarah and Old MacDonalds Farm also attended the event.
