Rovers keen to get season under way

Manjimup Rovers are gearing up for the 2020 South West Soccer Association season after returning to training on May 14.

Their first friendly fixture is this weekend against Busselton, before the regular season begins on June 21.

The season fixtures are yet to be confirmed by SWSA.

Vice-president Jeremy Connor said the start of the season was a relief for the club.

“Everyone’s very relieved to be able to participate in contact sports again,” he said.

“We are excited for the start of the soccer season in the next few weeks.”

The club has 12 players registered, but is always looking for more to join the club.
