Ugle Fabrications La Fiamma produced an outstanding performance to beat Northern City FC 4-0 at Salvatore Sciuto Stadium on Saturday night and continue their four-game undefeated streak.

La Fiamma started on the front foot, opening the scoring in the 20th minute when captain Lachlan Gray latched on to a through ball from Wiehan DeBruyn, which was dispatched into the bottom corner.

Wiehan turned from provider to scorer soon after, making it 2-0 to the Reds shortly before half-time.

Sensing more goals, La Fiamma came out after half-time on the front foot and found an unlikely scorer with Daniel Walsh breaking a three-year goal drought early in the second half.

However, La Fiamma were not content with the scoreline and continued to push forward as the second half wore on.

A number of opportunities went begging for the Reds and it seemed like the game would finish at 3-0.

However, 16 year-old Armani Liswaniso had other ideas, scoring his first league goal for La Fiamma with a volley to put the icing on the cake.

La Fiamma will play Sutherlands next Sunday away from home.

* The club’s reserves were unlucky not to manage a point against visitors Northern City.

After going 2-0 down they fought back to equalise, however in the dying minutes of the match they conceded an own goal to lose 3-2.
