The NSW government is urging residents not to miss out on using left over Dine & Discover vouchers before they expire on June 30.

Millions of dollars in unclaimed vouchers can still be redeemed for free at a range of restaurants and activities over the next seven days.

“My message to the community is simple – don’t miss out. Check to see if you have any vouchers remaining and spend them now,” customer service and digital government minister Victor Dominello said.

The top three Local Government Areas with well over $10 million in unspent vouchers across the state are the Central Coast, Blacktown and Canterbury-Bankstown.

Dine vouchers can still be used at a range of restaurants while Discover vouchers are able to be used at movies, museums and other activities, which in some cases can be booked in advance using the vouchers.

With close to half a billion already spent through the program at more than 16,600 businesses, Mr Dominello said the program had served its intended purpose.

“The vouchers have been an overwhelming success, by getting more customers through doors of businesses and boosting household budgets,” Mr Dominello said.

More than 5.4 million people registered for the program and each received three $25 Dine NSW and three $25 Discover NSW Vouchers.

After 30 June, Dine & Discover NSW Vouchers will move to the expired tab of the vouchers section in the Service NSW app.

Discover NSW registered business can still accept Parents NSW Vouchers until 9 October 2022 and Stay NSW Vouchers, which assist the accommodation sector, will also be available for use until 9 October.
