Williams secured a 65–51 victory over Wagin in the Narrogin and Districts Netball Association’s Earl Street Physio Round in a competitive match that had both sides battling hard throughout.

The opening half of the Saturday afternoon game was a tight contest, with Williams holding just a one-goal advantage at 27–26 during the second quarter.

Wagin continued to apply pressure, keeping Williams within reach as both teams fought for control.

Williams’ sharp shooting was a key factor in the win, with Bella Logie converting strongly under pressure.

Her shooting was well-supported by the clever connections of Sienna McDonald and Sophie Beasley, who worked hard to create opportunities through the circle.

Wagin also had plenty of attacking firepower, with Kaya-Lee Te Kapa showing good form in the shooting circle.

She was well-fed by Traceylee Kingi, whose vision and accurate passing helped Wagin stay competitive throughout the game.

Williams began to pull away as the match progressed, extending their lead through the second half.

Despite a determined effort from Wagin, Williams finished strongly to secure the 65–51 win.

Cuballing and Wickepin both recorded confident wins in their round 13 clashes, with Cuballing defeating Olympics Gold 62-34 and Wickepin taking a 59-30 victory over Flames.

The NDNA’s junior division three also held its final week of competition earlier this month.

This season was very competitive, with less than one game separating Wagin 5 and Flames Phoenix at the top of the ladder.

As fate would have it, these teams were fixtured to play each other in the final game of the season.

Wagin came strong out of the gate, with Milla Boundy scoring five goals to Flames’ one in the first quarter.

Flames fought back in the second quarter, with Tatum Ballard and Lily-Rose Kulker scoring well for Flames to bring the margin back to a single goal at half-time.

The third quarter was a tight tussle, with only four goals scored by Flames, who took the lead and didn’t look back, running out eventual winners 16-12 in an excellent display of junior netball.

Despite losing the game, Wagin managed to maintain top spot on the ladder thanks to their superior percentage and were crowned JD3 champions for 2026.
