Teen airlifted to Perth after crashing dirt bike into a tree on Great Southern Highway in Cuballing

A teenager has been flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after crashing his motorcycle into a tree while travelling on Great Southern Highway in Cuballing on Wednesday.

The male was driving his dirt bike along Great Northern Highway when he lost control of his vehicle near the intersection of Stratherne Road, in Cuballing.

He veered off the road and collided with a tree.

St John WA transported the male, who sustained serious injuries, by ambulance under lights and sirens to Narrogin Health Service, arriving at 1:10pm.

The RAC Rescue helicopter then conveyed the man from Narrogin Health Service to Royal Perth Hospital, where he landed at 4.15pm.
