Woman escapes serious injury in Forrestfield crash
A woman has miraculously escaped life-threatening injuries after losing control of her car and smashing into a power pole in Perth’s east last night.
Police said the woman lost control of her Mitsubishi Outlander after hitting a kerb on Hale Road in Forrestfield about 7.30pm. Fire crews rushed to free the woman using the jaws of life.
An officer at the scene said the woman was lucky not to have been killed.
It is understood the woman suffered a broken leg.
