More than 100 works of art are set to go on display and sale as part of the 20th annual Dunsborough Lions Art Show.

The exhibition brings together works by 58 artists from the Capes region as well as Boddington, Kojonup, Bunbury and Perth.

Dunsborough Lions Club convenor Bob Clements said there would be a range of styles and media on show.

Artist Carmen McFaull has been involved in the exhibition for many years and this year is exhibiting a stunning depiction of a Rottnest shoreline.

Husband and wife artists Vic and Jo Fazakerley have submitted pieces to the show for many years and they believe it is important to support the local Lions.

“It is fortunate for the region that Lions host this event,” Mr Fazakerley said. “It gives support to local artists and the funds raised go back into the community.”

There will be several awards for the pieces including an overall award for the best artwork, the best oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, drawing and mixed medium, as well as a people’s choice award.

All the artwork in the exhibition will be for sale.

The exhibition will be officially launched at the Yallingup Hall at 5pm today.

It will be open from 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday and from 9am-3pm on Monday.
