Big field ready for main event

About 70 swimmers and six paddle boarders took to the water on Sunday for some extra practice ahead of the SunSmart Jetty Swim next weekend.

Organiser Barry Green said three first-time competitors participated in the practice swims, gaining a little more confidence for the main event on Sunday, February 11. “Those three plus all the other swimmers are very excited and now have more confidence for the big day,” he said.
