Live-streamed CCTV footage of the Busselton skate park has been disabled after public objections while a survey on the matter is conducted

City of Busselton director of community and commercial services Naomi Searle said the City recognised division among residents on the subject.

“We were aware of comments made on social media and felt it was worthwhile opening the issue up more broadly to ascertain whether there was significant concern,” she said. “The live-streaming was disabled until the survey results could give validation to community sentiment on the issue.”

The survey, conducted through yoursay.busselton.wa.gov.au closes Wednesday after which the re-establishment of live-streaming will be decided.
