Geographe Bay Football Club is putting on a Pink Sports Day fundraiser this month, with the community encouraged to get involved for the chance to win a getaway to Yallingup.

The event will be held on Sunday, May 21, at the Seasiders’ home ground at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, and will feature masters, ladies’ and reserve games between Geographe Bay, Dalyellup and Capel from 9am.

All money raised from the day will go to the Breast Cancer Network Australia.

To mark the day, all Geographe Bay teams, including away sides, will be wearing pink socks and strips and will be playing with pink soccer balls.

Two nights accommodation at Wyadup Brook Cottages in Yallingup are among the donated prizes to be raffled off, while others include a four-person degustation at Rustico at Hay Shed Hill.

There will be hot drinks from Yahava, with money donated from each cuppa sold, and pink cupcakes, a sausage sizzle, spot prizes and lolly-guessing games for children.

For more information, contact Geographe Bay Football Club at contact@gbfc.com.au or by phoning 0438 030 384.

Tickets for the event are available beforehand and cost $2 each or $5 for three.
