In the midst of concerns within WA’s entertainment industry about COVID, the Good Day Sunshine Festival has announced its return to the South West this year. After a world first COVID-safe show in 2020, the successful festival will return to take over the Busselton Foreshore on September 24. International superstar and Grammy Award winning Leon Bridges will joined by a hand-picked selection of established and emerging Australian artists. ARIA Music Award nominated Josh Pyke, Thelma Plum and The Teskey Brother will also be joined by crowd favourites Abbe May, Little Quirks and Siobhan Cotchin. With a backdrop of the ivory sands and turquoise waters of the Busselton foreshore, the festival is promising to make guests souls sing while they enjoy the region’s top food and beverages. Limited pre-sale tickets will be available from Wednesday March 9, with registrations open now at gdsfest.com. General tickets will go one sale from Oztix from 11am on March 11.
