A Dunsborough property sustained significant damage on Wednesday night after a car allegedly mounted the verge on the corner of St Michael’s Parkway and Dunsborough Lakes Drive and crashed into the property’s carport.

Dunsborough Police Senior Constable Kelly Player told the Times the black Ford Falcon XR6 made impact with two parked cars outside the property, causing “severe damage” to all vehicles involved.

“The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot and were unable to be located by the police on the night of the crash,” she said.

“The car of interest has been towed for forensic examination.”

Police were still investigating the incident when the Times went to print yesterday morning.
