Albany’s Town Hall transformed into a winter wonderland on Friday April 5 to launch Youth Week WA, an annual celebration of young people in Western Australia.

The night featured a performance from local youth folk band Komorebi, Southern Edge Arts’ acrobat performances, face painting, games, a chill zone and a stunning photo booth backdrop created by Albany Senior High School students.

The backdrop was paired with rain-like decorations made by the Albany Youth Support Association, drawing inspiration from the Menang-Noongar wet seasons.

No winter wonderland is complete without snow and the night’s designated snow zone was a hit throughout the night with attendees dancing as “snow” rained down from above.
