Police are calling for witnesses to a string of overnight break-ins and thefts throughout Busselton’s CBD.

Officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jason Van Der Ende said at least two commercial premises were broken into on Monday night.

Windows were damaged and property — including cash registers and tills — were stolen.

“We’re calling for information from anyone who saw anything suspicious on Monday night,” he said.

Sen. Sgt Van Der Ende said items were also undergoing forensic testing, which would assist the investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Busselton police on 9754 9555 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
