Busselton Brass is due to dazzle crowds at Mandalay Holiday Resort this weekend at the Carols at Mandalay performance on Sunday evening.

Established in 1871, the brass group has a long history in the region and is one of the oldest brass bands in WA.

It is a community band of players of all ages and abilities from all over the South West and has previously graced the stage at community events such as Petticoat Lane, Australia Day Ceremony, Anzac Day and Community Carols.

This weekend will be the third time the band has played at the Carols at Mandalay.

Busselton Brass will perform at Mandalay Holiday Resort along with the South West Opera Company and other entertainers this Sunday — December 18 — with the event beginning at 6.30pm.

Busselton Brass is a happy, energetic group of community- minded people passionate about making music.

Anyone interested in joining the band is encouraged to head along to rehearsals every Thursday night from 7.30pm at the Brass Band Room, corner of Jolliffe Street and High Street, Busselton.
