A Baldivis supermarket has proven it has the chops to mix it with WA’s best.

Baldivis IGA was awarded WA’s medium meat department of the year at the recent WA IGA Awards of Excellence.

The annual awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of independent retailers across the State, with winners judged on criteria including customer service, community pride, department excellence and overall store performance.

Judges deemed the store’s meat of the “freshest quality” and its cabinets well stocked and cleaned.

Store manager Josh Rock said the award was a “nice reward for the efforts of our team”.

“Our local butchers in the store are committed to sourcing local high-quality meat, providing our shoppers with fresh products every single day,” he said.

“The Baldivis local community loves the friendly service, quality and pricing of our meat, and we’re incredibly proud to have been recognised with this award.”
