This April 25, locals across the region will gather to commemorate those who fought and served in the First World War.

Anzac Day will see a variety of commemorative services taking place in Busselton including a dawn service and community march.

The dawn service will start at 5:45am at the Busselton War Memorial at Memorial Park followed by a gunfire breakfast at Busselton RSL.

For those wishing to join in commemorations later in the day, the town parade will start at 9am on the corner of Queen St and Marine Terrace, heading towards the War Memorial where the main service will start at 9:20am.

Following the service there will be a morning tea held at Busselton RSL followed by lunch at midday with games of two-up and other Anzac activities available until late.

Patrons who are travelling will have parking available and Busselton RSL with wheelchair access also available at the facility for the inclusion of everyone wishing to take part in the celebrations.

Unlike previous years there will be no official services happening in Dunsborough due to last-minute C complications, with locals invited to attend Busselton services or alternatively take to their driveways, decks or living rooms to pay their respects as has occurred in previous years.

They hope to return with a service and parade for 2023.
