More than 70 budding pirates took to the seas of Geographe Bay last Sunday as part of the Festival of Busselton’s annual pirate competition.

All entrants on board the Leeuwin received a goodie bag complete with pirate stickers and stick-on tattoos, while winners received a Binary Parade Certificate from Leeuwin Ocean Adventure and a voucher for Barefoot Books or Sportspower.

Festival president Jenny Stewart thanked Captain Sarah Robinson and First Mate Angela Lewis for judging, as well as all those who generously donated their time, including Leia and James Hunt and Ryan Stewart.

The event was sponsored by Leeuwin Civil.
