Busselton Dunsborough Times

This week’s Nannup Flower and Garden Festival is not just for gardeners, but will have a variety of exhibitions to keep art lovers entertained.

The annual Holberry Sculpture Walk exhibition will open on Thursday in conjunction with the festival, and will run through until October 1.

A celebration of WA sculpture, more than 30 pieces featuring a variety of mediums will be exhibited throughout the lower gardens of Holberry House.

Owner Louise Stokes said the exhibition was an opportunity to showcase sculptures from across the State.

“Our gardens are open everyday and this was an added attraction,” she said.

“My mum was an artist and we grew up around her creations, it’s a wonderful manner of expression.”

Among some of the artists to feature at this year’s exhibition are Martin Costello, Rod Laws, Marvin Mitchell and Narion O’Callaghan.

The exhibition is open daily; entry is $4 per person with part proceeds assisting local community garden projects.
