A motorcyclist has been killed after a collision with a Nissan Navara reversing out of a driveway in Busselton.

The 40-year-old man was riding his Suzuki motorbike south on Ford Road about 8.30am Monday when the crash unfolded.

The person behind the wheel, a man in his 70s, was not injured.

The motorbike rider suffered catastrophic injuries and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital, where he later died.

Police officers from the major crash section are investigating a fatal crash.
