Karaoke carols a candlelight challenge
Dunsborough’s Carols by Candlelight will feature a “bit of Carol-oke — a sing-off between the north and south side of the audience”, organiser Caroline Lill said.
“So have a practice in the shower,” she said.
The event, which will be held on Thursday at John Edwards Pavilion, starts at 6pm with carols to start at 7pm.
“Bring a picnic dinner to eat on the lawn or dine out with Lions Club,” Ms Lill said.
“Dress your children up as angels, shepherds and wise men as we would love them to participate in the nativity play and of course Santa will be here (minus the reindeers as they are being rested before the big night).”
The event will feature dancing competitions and performances by the Dunsborough Primary Choir with music by teacher Mel Smoker on guitar.
Flame-safe candles will be available on the night and the Lions Club will hold a sausage sizzle with all proceeds going to junior sport.
“We are also desperately seeking a baby for our nativity play,” Ms Lill said
If you have a suitable baby, please contact Caroline Lill on email@example.com.
