A Busselton man has pleaded guilty to 21 different criminal charges, including using a stolen credit card to buy about $400 worth of goods.

Macker Joseph Dinah, 33, appeared in Busselton’s Magistrate Court last Tuesday where he entered pleas to his criminal spree, which included 14 fraudulent purchases from two stolen bank cards and three additional offences relating to those incidents.

His other charges included criminal damage of a Busselton ATM, disorderly behaviour in public, the receiving of stolen cash and two driving offences, one of which he pleaded not guilty to.

Dinah removed a defect notice from his car on May 10 and proceeded to drive it on the road.

While he admitted to removing the notice and driving the car, he pleaded not guilty to driving without a seatbelt.

That same day, he stole a Bankwest card to make 12 purchases, including nearly $100 on alcohol, $88 on cigarettes and $123 on “miscellaneous” items.

Two months later on July 21, Dinah stole an ANZ card to again buy cigarettes and alcohol valued at $56.50.

Sentencing was adjourned so Dinah can take part in diversion programs. He will reappear later this year.
