New Fine Food Providore set to make Origins Market the one-stop shop for the school holidays

School holidays just got a whole lot better at Origins market, with the new collaboration between Gale Force Farm’s Fine Food Providore and Origins Fresh showcasing the region’s best producers, growers and makers. From this Saturday, customers will be able to have a sneak peak into the finest up and coming local regional produce, Gale Force Farm’s owner Rob Underwood saying the concept aims to give customers a “first taste” of new products before they hit the shelves. “As a producer in the South West region I know there are so many incredibly talented makers in our area, from cheese to chocolate, from sauces to jams and so much more,” he said. “Our hope is that by tasting the best of the region, our customers will also explore further and visit the incredible producers directly.” The Fine Food Providore will stock a range of locally sourced cheese, cold meats, olives and more which can be selected to make your own picnic pack or pre-ordered as a prepared grazing board to be enjoyed with friends or at home. The reimagined Origins Market Fresh will also bring farm-fresh in-season fruit and veg to market, allowing customers to choose from the best the season and region has to offer. Origins Market’s new operations manager Matt Materia described the fresh food space as a growing and exciting addition to a one-of-a-kind market. “From Easter weekend you can make Origins Market a regular visit for all your weekly food needs,” he said. “In one visit you can stock up on the region’s freshest locally caught fish and seafood, get your prime cuts of meat and sausage, grab fresh fruit and veg and pick up your daily bread; the options just go on and on!” The Fine Food Providore and Origins Fresh will be open every day of the school holidays after its grand opening this Saturday.
