A 21-year-old man has been charged with reckless driving after doing burnouts in the carpark of Dunsborough Primary School and crashing into a fence on the campus.

Senior Constable Kelly Player told the Times police received reports of a vehicle driving recklessly around the carpark before driving away down Turner Street.

“Police attended and located the vehicle abandoned in bushland on Hurford Street, with significant damage done to the car and registration plates removed,” she said.

The man was later arrested and charged and will face Busselton Magistrate’s Court January 30.
