Dunsborough Oilers had another big week of wins, scoring 64 baskets against the Ycw Stingers’ 59 and winning 69 to 38 against the Boomers in the A-grade.

But the closest game was between the two B-grade Oiler teams, with the Dunsborough Deep 3 Oilers beating the Dunsborough Peanut Oilers by just one basket in the last minutes of the game, posting a final score of 37 to 36.

Peanut Oilers’ player James Duffy said the game was incredibly close and “back and forth all game long”.

“I don’t think there was more than a five-point lead at any time in the game,” he said.

“Deep 3 scored their final basket with a minute-and-a- half to go and we just missed scoring what would have been the winning basket in the last 10 seconds.”

The score gap between the two B-grade Boomers teams was not particularly wide either and the Bombers won over the Rejects 41 to 35.
