As the 2022 SWFL season reaches its midway point, Busselton will be looking to achieve their fifth win of the season while the Eaton Boomers will look to bounce back from a tough loss to Bunbury. Busselton will host the Eaton Boomers at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday during the 10th round of the 2022 SWFL season. The Magpies will be returning from having a bye during round nine after edging out Collie Eagles by just one point in round eight. Busselton sit in fifth place on the ladder with a 4-3 record and will be looking to extend their winning streak to a fifth win. Since losing to Bunbury back in round three, Busselton have been working hard to bounce back and build up an impressive winning streak with victories over Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault, Carey Park, Donnybrook and the Eagles in recent weeks. Meanwhile, Eaton Boomers will be looking to bounce back from a hard loss to table toppers Bunbury after falling short to the Bulldogs by 37 points in front of a home crowd last weekend. While the Boomers were able to put the pressure on and put in a strong defensive effort, kicking accuracy seemed to be their downfall after several missed opportunities in front of goal. Like the Magpies, the Boomers hold a 4-3 record but sit above them in fourth place on the ladder by percentage. The last time the Magpies and the Boomers met was during round 14 of 2021 SWFL season when Busselton managed a convincing 14.15 (99) to 5.4 (34) win at Sir Stewart Bovell Park.
