After having two consecutive byes, Busselton will be looking to return more determined than ever to build momentum. Busselton will host the Eaton Boomers at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday during round 10 of the 2022 SWFL women’s season. It will be the Magpies’ first match since their round seven victory over Donnybrook after having two consecutive byes in rounds eight and nine. Prior to having two weeks off, Busselton had also managed convincing wins over Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault, Carey Park and Dunsborough. Busselton sit in third place on the ladder with a 4-2 record, above Harvey Bulls only by percentage. Meanwhile, the Eaton Boomers will be looking to make a fast start after their slow-burn approach fell short to Bunbury last weekend. While the Boomers managed to put the pressure on the Bulldogs throughout the match, it was not until the last quarter that they finally managed to start converting and hit the scoreboard. The Boomers sit in seventh place on the ladder with a 1-6 record as they continue to chase their second win since edging out Carey Park in round eight. The last time the Magpies and the Boomers met was during round 14 of the 2021 season, when Busselton dominated Eaton 11.10 (76) to 0.1 (1) at Sir Stewart Bovell Park.
