Busselton has a chance to get back into the top three of the SWFL women’s ladder when they face Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault on the weekend. The Magpies are currently fourth on the ladder and one win behind Donnybrook, but a Dons bye this weekend means a victory will put Busselton back into third. Busselton have not won their past two matches, with a loss to the ladder-leading Bulldogs in round 14 and the second-placed Harvey Bulls in round 11. Standing in their way on a third place is the seventh-placed Lions, who would not have won a game in their past five outings if it was not for a one-point victory over Eaton in round 11. Last time the sides met, Busselton won 7.6 (48) to nil, with Susan Isaacson kicking two goals and Katisha Barrett, who kicked a goal of her own, being named best on ground. The game will be played at 1.30pm on Saturday at Brunswick Oval.
