Weekend Weather: Humid and drizzly weekend to kick off April
A couple of drizzly humid days are in store for the South West as we welcome the start of a new month.
Bunbury will remain mostly sunny on Friday with a top of 30C, with a small shower expected in the afternoon and remaining into the evening.
The rain doesn’t have plans to stop throughout the rest of the weekend in Bunbury, with a 40 per cent chance of showers on Saturday and a top of 29C.
Sunday is cooling off slightly with the mercury at 26C and a 70 per cent chance of showers between 2am and 2pm.
Further south in Busselton, Friday will be partly cloudy with a 50 per cent chance of showers in the mid-morning.
Friday will reach a top of 29C before it cools off over Saturday and Sunday at 28C and 26C.
The Warren-Blackwood region will see the most rain this weekend on Sunday, with a 90 per cent chance in the morning and afternoon across Bridgetown and Manjimup, with the chance of a thunderstorm in the north of the region.
Up the hill in Collie, a mostly sunny day is expected for Friday with a top of 30C with a 20 per cent chance of rain and a light thunderstorm in the mid-morning.
The weekend is looking cloudy inland, with a 40 per cent chance of rain on Saturday before a storm is set to roll in on Sunday with a 80 per cent chance of rain and thunder.
