One out, all out for Kimberley Pride do

East Kimberley folk of all sexualities flocked to the Ord River Sports Club on September 5 for KNQ’s second annual Pride event, Rainbow Moon.The event was in high demand, with its 200 exclusive tickets reserved by the public over a week in advance, leaving punters begging at the door to be admitted.The region’s queer community and rainbow-clad allies strutted their stuff down the red carpet and out to the stage for an evening of high-calibre entertainment from Kimberley performers. Highlights included the comical stylings of hosts Maya Swell and Sum Ting Wong, the Addicted to Dance senior troupe, the Monsoon Nights belly dancers, Lady XXXX featuring Steven Bleakley, Nanna Jo and Alex Stayaway.
