Motorists are being warned to expect delays on one of Perth’s busiest freeways after a crash near the city left vehicles stranded on the roadside on Saturday.
The latest incident occurred on the Mitchell Freeway southbound exit to Mounts Bay Road, where vehicles are stopped in the left emergency lane.
Several motorists have been seen outside their vehicles and traffic is slowing through the area, with drivers urged to take care on approach.
The crash comes less than an hour after another incident on the Mitchell Freeway northbound at Lukin Drive in Nowergup, where vegetation was strewn across both lanes.
The hazard has been cleared and traffic is flowing normally.
A crash on Stirling Highway southbound at McCabe Street in North Fremantle has also been cleared after partially blocking the left lane.
Traffic is moving through the area again following the earlier incident.
Drivers in Morley are also being urged to slow down after traffic signals blacked out at several major intersections including Walter Road East and Beechboro Road, Morley Drive and Beechboro Road, Collier Road and Jackson Street, and Broun Avenue and Doyle Street.
Motorists have been reminded to treat the intersections as give-way situations and proceed with caution.
The crash on Mitchell Freeway southbound in Woodvale early on Saturday has been cleared.
