WA Police have issued a public appeal for information as they piece together the details of a distressing ordeal in Perth’s south after three teenagers were pursued and robbed by a gang of men. The three teenage boys were riding e-scooters at about 7pm in Baldivis on Wednesday, 29 November, when a vehicle — described as a small silver or grey sedan — drove at them. The boys — who were travelling on Telephone Lane, near the intersection of Wellard Road — tried to escape, but the vehicle followed them before crashing into two of them. The force of the car’s impact caused them to suffer minor injuries when it sent them falling off their scooters. The attackers, believed to be five men, then exited the car — with one of them wielding a knife — and stole a scooter before fleeing the scene. As Rockingham Detectives continue their investigation, they are reaching out for public help and have released a description of three men believed to be able to assist with their inquiries. The first man, in his late teens, is described as being about 175cm in height with short blonde hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and white trainers on the night of the attack. A second man is described as being about 170cm tall, in his mid-teens, of slim build, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey t-shirt with white writing, black shorts, a black cap, a Gucci-style belt and red or white shoes. The third man, in his mid-teens, is described as being of heavy build and about 180cm tall with dark hair in a mullet style and green eyes. He was seen wearing a black baseball cap and blue t-shirt on the night. Anyone with dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage of the incident or believes they may have seen the vehicle driving in the area between 6pm and 8pm on the night of the incident, is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online. Police have reminded the public that reports can be made anonymously.
