Perth petrol price to be 35¢ a litre more expensive on ‘cheap Tuesday’ than last week

Perth’s average petrol price will be about 35¢ a litre more expensive on Tuesday compared with last week, threatening to upend what has become known as “cheap fuel” day.

Caltex on Tuesday will charge an average of 202.3¢ per litre for unleaded petrol, the most expensive in Perth, followed by Reddy Express at 201.9¢ and United at 194.8¢.
The highest overall price is 209.9¢ per litre, at several Shell and BPs, including Mount Lawley and Redcliffe.
The cheapest of the big brands will be 7-Eleven at 186.3¢, with the cheapest fuel overall to be found at Costco, at 172.7¢ per litre.
